Common questions

How does ChessMogg get my games?
You link your Chess.com or Lichess username after signing in, and ChessMogg fetches your public games directly from that site's public API. No chess-site password is ever requested.

Does analysis require an internet connection?
Board analysis uses a local engine on your device. Fetching games, Chad chat, Deep Dive reports, and generating or syncing personal lessons require an internet connection.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone to view, change, or cancel.

How do I request a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple directly — visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
